Online information event (Tuesday 21st June) 3.45pm - 4.30pm
Secondary Introduction to Teaching for Mastery
This online information session aims to give a broad introduction to Teaching for Mastery approaches, as well as give information about the funded Mastery programmes for 2022/23.
One of our Secondary Mastery Specialists, Tom Alley, will be talking briefly about the 5 big ideas involved with Mastery and how it helps pupils acquire a deep, long-term, secure and adaptable understanding of the subject. Tom Carpenter, the Secondary Mastery Lead, will also talk about how you can get involved in the funded Mastery programmes next academic year and what it means for you and your school. There will also be a chance to ask any questions you may have.
Sessions are suitable for school and MAT leaders and maths leads, or any teachers who are interested in developing their understanding of Teaching for Mastery and adopting mastery approaches in their teaching.
FREE for all colleagues who are based in state funded schools in Birmingham, Sandwell or Dudley.
