Teaching for Mastery – an introduction

Heads of department, school leadership and anyone who teaches maths is welcome to attend this free event.

This whole-day workshop is an opportunity for any secondary in the Central Maths Hub region to find out more about Teaching for Mastery (TfM).
The NCETM have led free training across England for over 10 years to improve teaching and learning  in mathematics, and the success of their work is widely recognised by Ofsted, and the DfE.
TfM is introduced through 5 big ideas that should be considered at all levels of maths. Attendees will find out more about this and will leave with practical strategies that can be immediately used in the classroom.
