Planning to incorporate reasoning in schemes of work
This event will be led by Norma Honey. It builds on the work carried out by Sue Hough (Realistic maths) and will look at how and where these and other approaches (e.g. Singapore Bar/ Mastery) can be integrated into the GCSE resit programme. The day will look at planning for the new academic year of the gcse resit course and where these approaches might be integrated.
This is a stand - alone day. You do not have to have attended day 1
The event will provide participants with:
* Strategies for engaging students in mathematics using contexts and models
* Consideration of recent GCSE questions
* Materials to take away.
* Areas where new approaches might be integrated.
We very much hope that you can attend and look forward to seeing you there.
