The Central Maths Hub is looking to identify up to 8 schools to be involved in this Work Group.
This is a Work Group that is suitable for both primary and secondary colleagues.
What are the key themes of the Work Group?
This is a resource development Work Group in which participants will be part of a panel of primary and secondary teachers that will meet to discuss mathematical structures, approaches to assessment, multiple representations and scaffolding structures that support Teaching for Mastery. Through dynamic geometry software, a series of electronic resources to support schools will be commissioned, designed by the members of the panel and created by Michael Borcherds, lead developer of GeoGebra in the UK.

Involvement in this Work Group consists of several elements:
A bursary of £200 will be available to all participating schools, subject to attendance at all sessions and satisfactory completion of interim tasks. The bursary is a contribution towards travel, cover and other expenses incurred by the school for the participation in this Work Group. There will only be one bursary payment per school.
